Poster with a reproduction of the patent for a device for cooling beer with cold air by Gottlieb Schmidt.
Beer is one of the oldest and most consumed alcoholic beverages in the world and the third most popular drink after water and tea. Poland, with a consumption of 98 liters per person in 2012, ranked high in fourth place in the world, second only to such famous beer connoisseurs as the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.
The present invention relates to a device comprising an air chamber and a refrigerator configured to cool the beer or other liquid, by directing the cold air under pressure to the beer chamber. The improvement claimed in the patent relates mainly to the rounded shape of the housing and the air chamber to match it, as well as the cooling tubes that surround the cooling chamber.
