Posters "Maps of the world"
poster from the series "Maps of the world" presents the most beautiful countries in the world, those that are often chosen as a destination by tourists from all over the world. The leading theme, "Map", is shown in a perverse, unconventional way - it only complements the presented scenery, not its main element. This poster shows Poland and what is most characteristic about its landscape - rape fields and storks. The series aims to show the beauty of these countries, focusing mainly on nature, not on urban buildings. Each poster shows one of the most recognizable landscape features of a given country. The entire series of "World Maps" has been prepared by a young artist from Tczew, Karolina Wiśniewska.
Poster Map of China
This poster shows a special region, chosen as one of the most frequent destinations by tourists from all over the world. The China poster shows the Great Wall of China in the Badaling region, i.e. a range of hills located about 70 km north of Beijing's city center. The Great Wall of China is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Middle Kingdom. The total length of the wall in this region is 4.8 kilometers. It is fortified with 19 watchtowers. It is the best preserved section of the Great Wall. The section of the Great Wall running through Badaling is located at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level and guards the Juyongguan Pass. It was erected during the Ming Dynasty, around 1505. It was extensively restored in the 20th century, and in 1957 was the first section opened to tourists. It is now visited by over 100 million people each year. In the background of the poster is an outline map of China. This country in the eastern part of Asia is the 3rd largest country in the world with an area of 9,562,911 km². The capital city of this country is Beijing, where almost 21.5 million Chinese live.
