The Gizycko poster is a continuation of the new mini-series "Poland is beautiful". The series aims to present more or less famous tourist destinations in Poland.
Giżycko is the undisputed capital of Polish sailing. It is located in the central part of the Masurian Lake District in the Land of the Great Masurian Lakes. It lies picturesquely sandwiched between the Niegocin and Kisajno lakes. During the summer season Giżycko is besieged by sailboats glittering in the sun and tourists in love with Masuria.
Therefore, we symbolically wanted to show what is most characteristic in the scenery of this summer town. A sailor sailing alone on the lake on his sailboat and the water sparkling in all shades of blue.
GIŻYCKO poster is the work of Poznan artist Katarzyna Nowakowska. It was made especially for our order. See also other posters from the POLAND REGIONS series in our gallery.
