Poster with a reproduction of the patent for goalkeeper's gloves from 2006.
Modern origins of football took place in Great Britain in the 19th century, when dedicated football clubs began to appear in schools. However, at the time, there was no clear distinction between football and rugby. The players could use their hands and pass the ball backwards. It was not until 1848 in Cambridge that the first rules of the game were written, which limited the possibility of holding the ball in the hand and favored its kicking. patent relates to a sports glove with weights which improves the strength and agility of a goalkeeper. The glove has one or more pockets that can be loaded with any number of weights during training sessions for goalkeepers who vary not only in skill level, but also in height and age. Thanks to the possibility of placing weights in different parts of the glove, you can strengthen the desired part of the body (e.g. wrists or forearms) and improve the endurance of the muscles that control the movement of the hand.
