Posters from the Astronomy series show all eight planets in the solar system and 5 dwarf planets in the solar system. They were made, especially at our request, by the artist from Krakow as a second series, showing the same planets in a different, original perspective.
This poster shows Saturn. Saturn is the second largest (after Jupiter) planet in the solar system. It is very cold because it is very far from the Sun and receives only 1/10 the amount of heat and light that the Earth receives from it. Saturn's orbital period is nearly 11 hours. Its atmosphere consists mainly of hydrogen, helium and ammonia. Titan, the largest of Saturn's moons, is the only moon in the solar system with an Earth-like atmosphere. The rings around Saturn, discovered by Galileo, make it one of the most beautiful planets in the Solar System. There are hundreds of them, and they span thousands of kilometers. They are likely made up of millions of ice blocks ranging in diameter from a few centimeters to tens of meters that are visible through a telescope. Their thickness is only about 10 meters. The rings are most likely made of the material from which the moon was once to be formed. 7 of the rings are marked with successive letters of the alphabet from A to G.
