"Dinosaurs for children" posters were created to promote knowledge about dinosaurs among children by showing different species of dinosaurs in an interesting and fun way.

This poster shows a Triceratops, a genus of herbivorous ceratops horned dinosaurs that lived in the Maastrichtian (Late Cretaceous) from 68 to 65.5 million years ago in what is now North America. It is one of the last non-avian dinosaurs to appear before the Cretaceous Extinction. The generic name comes from Greek and means a face with three horns.

This prehistoric reptile was up to 9 meters long, over 3 meters high and weighing up to 12 tons. The huge head of the triceratops made up almost a third of its body length and could be up to 2 meters long. The triceratops had a large ruff (armored collar) on the back of the skull and three horns, one of which was shorter on the face and two long above the eyes. The ruff and horns served as a defense against predators as well as decorations that played a role during mating shows. Triceratops used a method similar to today's rhinoceros as a defense against enemies. Disturbed or irritated, he charged at the alleged enemy, his enormous mass and massive horns doing the rest.

This poster, as well as the entire series, was made especially for us by the artist Martyna Nejman.
