The poster depicts the "Aircraft System with Parachute" patented by Florian Alojzy Grubiński. It was a pioneering jet aircraft design. Grubiński was one of the pioneers in using the force of air or gas jets to achieve flight. On December 11, 1909, he filed an application in France for invention protection for an "aircraft" of his own design. Patent No. 410886 was issued to him on March 23, 1910.
The invention involved a jet-powered tiltrotor aircraft, moving vertically and horizontally as a result of jet jets of compressed air. The air jets exit the engine through suitably arranged nozzles. A highly efficient rotary air pump is an integral part of the invention. The key element of the innovation presented in the invention patent was the idea of heating the compressed air entering the nozzle, which would increase the jet engine's power. The aircraft was also equipped with a parachute device that would be able to bring it down in the event of a malfunction.
The aircraft concept was not implemented.
