Boeing 757 - poster

The Boeing 757 airplane poster is a reproduction of a Boeing Company passenger airplane patent by John F. Brown Jr. and Boyce D. Jackson. The Boeing 757 is a mid-size, twin-engine passenger airplane.

It is the largest single-aisle airplane designed and built by Boeing Company. It was produced from 1981 to 2004. Initially, development of the 757 utilized many design elements from the 727, but as time progressed, design elements from the 767, which was further advanced at the time, were adopted. A common glass cockpit for two crew members was adopted for both aircraft, including common instrumentation, avionics, and flight management systems. After completing a short conversion course, pilots rated for the 757 could qualify for the 767, and vice versa, due to their close design similarity.

The patent depicts an early concept of the 757, which, among other things, was proposed with a T-tail, characteristic of the 727. However, the final configuration of the model adopted a traditional tail.
