This poster from the "World Maps" series depicts the most beautiful countries in the world, often chosen as travel destinations by tourists from all over the world. The main theme, "Map," is presented in a subversive, unconventional way – it merely complements the depicted scenery, not its main element. The series aims to showcase the beauty of these countries, focusing primarily on nature, not urban development. Each poster depicts one of the most recognizable elements of a given country's landscape. The entire "World Maps" series was created by Karolina Wiśniewska, a young artist from Tczew. This poster depicts a unique region, one of the most popular destinations for tourists from around the world. The Thailand poster depicts Koh Phi Phi Island. This small island is located in southern Thailand, between Phuket and the mainland. It is known for its scattered limestone cliffs covered in lush vegetation and beautiful, sandy beaches surrounded by warm, turquoise waters. In the background of the poster is an outline map of Thailand. This country in Southeast Asia is the 51st largest in the world, with an area of 513,120 km². Most of the country is occupied by the Chao Phraya Lowland in the center and the Korat Plain in the east, but in the northwest, on the border with Laos and Burma, stretches a mountain range with Thailand's highest peak: Doi Inthanon, 2,595 m above sea level. The capital of Thailand is Bangkok, where almost 10% of the Thai population lives. Numerous tourists flock to Bangkok, attracted by its approximately 400 Buddhist and Hindu temples and vibrant nightlife. Besides Bangkok, tourists also frequently visit the southwestern part of the country. Its magnificent beaches make it a perfect destination for relaxation.
