Masuria poster from the REGIONS OF POLAND poster series. A one-of-a-kind collection designed to showcase the most beautiful and picturesque regions of the country. Our posters showcase popular, as well as lesser-known areas of Poland.
Masuria poster depicts the magic of the Masurian lakes. In the MASURIA poster, the Land of a Thousand Lakes represents the original beauty of nature coexisting simultaneously with the human environment. The foreground's flight of smoothly flying mallard ducks is meant to evoke the sailboats painted in the distance in the MASURIA illustration. The Masurian Lake District is a fairytale setting, evoking the fondest summer memories of shanties sung around the campfire.
It has long been known that MASURIA, depicted in the poster, is a true miracle of nature. The picturesque Masuria region is particularly rich in attractions in the summer, with lakes full of sailboats moored in ports and families strolling with children everywhere.
The MASURIA poster is a fantasy of a contemporary Polish poster about lakes by one of Poznań's artists, Katarzyna Nowakowska. It was commissioned by us. See also other posters from the REGIONS OF POLAND series in our gallery.
