Astronomical posters – discover the fascinating secrets of the universe The “Astronomical” collection is a unique invitation to an amazing journey through the boundless cosmos. Created for enthusiasts of the night sky, science, and modern design, this series combines educational value with outstanding visual aesthetics. Among our cosmic offerings, a special place is occupied by exceptional posters featuring official graphics from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Particularly noteworthy is a series of five posters presenting powerful space telescopes whose mission is to search for Earth-like extrasolar planets. One of them is the famous James Webb Space Telescope – the successor to Hubble, built between 2007 and 2021, designed for groundbreaking infrared observations. However, our astronomical category is not only about humanity’s technological achievements, but above all a tribute to the celestial bodies of our own cosmic backyard. We commissioned talented Polish artists to create original interpretations of the Solar System, so you can decorate your walls with planets in a completely new, intriguing form. Two artistic visions of the Solar System – Jaroszczuk and Helak The collection proudly presents two distinct artistic series dedicated to our stellar neighborhood. The first series, created by the Wrocław-based artist Joanna Jaroszczuk, depicts all eight planets of the Solar System. The flagship example from this collection is a beautiful poster of Saturn – the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest in our system, after Jupiter. This striking graphic shows the gas giant together with its nine extensive rings made of ice and rock, a planet whose existence was discovered as early as the 15th century BC. The second, unconventional take on the same theme comes from Kraków-based creator Rafał Helak. His series includes not only the eight main planets, but also five dwarf planets. A perfect example of the artist’s mastery is the poster depicting our native Earth. This illustration beautifully refers to the blue globe – the only known place in the universe where life exists. The artist graphically captured the uniqueness of a planet protected by an atmosphere 100 km thick (composed mainly of oxygen and nitrogen) and an ozone layer that shields us like a shield from radiation in an environment where temperatures range from -70 °C to 80 °C. Which interiors are best suited to space posters? Wondering where to hang these impressive astronomical graphics? Cosmic motifs are extremely versatile in interior design. NASA telescope posters, with their retro-futuristic and scientific character, fit brilliantly into loft, industrial, and dark academia interiors. They will be a wonderful addition to a modern home office or a living room filled with tech gadgets and science-fiction literature. Meanwhile, original planet series created by Polish illustrators are a dream choice for children’s and teens’ rooms. They stimulate imagination, encourage questions about the universe around us, and provide fantastic educational support. Thanks to their subdued color palette and professional linework, they can also be successfully incorporated into very modern, minimalist, and Scandinavian living spaces. Cosmic print quality and free framing for your convenience To fully showcase the depth of stellar emptiness and the incredible colors of gas giants, we offer printing on three carefully selected paper stocks. You can choose anti-glare Matte Paper (230 g/m²), Pearlescent Paper (255 g/m²), which enhances contrast beautifully, or exclusive Hahnemühle Art Paper (310 g/m²), made from 100% cotton, which gives cosmic graphics uncompromising museum-grade quality and exceptional durability for years to come. Our astronomical posters are available in five versatile formats: 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 50x70 cm, 61x91 cm, and 70x100 cm. We know how frustrating it can be to find the perfect frame, which is why we offer a complete service – if you buy a poster from us together with a dedicated frame, we will frame it for you completely free of charge! You will receive a picture securely packed in a rigid cardboard box, ready to hang straight away. For orders of prints only, we carefully roll them and ship them in sturdy protective cardboard tubes so they arrive in perfect condition. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) How do the two original planet series available in this collection differ? We offer two remarkable series created to our commission. The first, by Joanna Jaroszczuk from Wrocław, focuses on a very atmospheric interpretation of the eight planets of the Solar System (including Saturn). The second series, designed by Kraków artist Rafał Helak, presents an original vision not only of the eight major planets, but also includes five dwarf planets in our system. What do the NASA astronomical posters in your offer show? In the astronomical collection, we present a unique series of five posters from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). They depict powerful space telescopes (including the famous James Webb telescope – Hubble’s successor), whose main task is to search for Earth-like, potentially habitable extrasolar planets. In what sizes will you print a cosmic poster of Earth or the Webb telescope? We print all astronomical graphics for you in five popular wall sizes: 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 50x70 cm, 61x91 cm, and the XXL format, 70x100 cm. In addition, if you choose to buy a frame from our store, we will frame your cosmic poster for you completely free of charge before safely shipping it in a box. Which paper best showcases the incredible depth of space on astronomical posters? To achieve the incredible depth of the blackness of space and the intense colors of the planets, we definitely recommend Pearlescent Paper (255 g/m²). If, on the other hand, you are looking for a refined gallery look and museum-grade durability, choose Hahnemühle Art Paper (310 g/m²) made from cotton. For brightly lit children’s rooms, glare-free Matte Paper (230 g/m²) is a great choice.
