Science Boy & Science Girl - Original Series: Science Girl and Science Boy
Science Boy & Science Girl posters – discover the superpower of curiosity in your child Collection „Science Boy & Science Girl” (Science Girl and Science Boy) is a truly unique, positivity-filled series of posters created for one very important reason – to promote science and the humanities among children in an intriguing, aesthetic, and above all fun way. Where did this extraordinary idea come from? The inspiration for Poster Polytechnic was the cult TV series „Friends” (The One with the Mugging, season 9, episode 15) and the comic book titled „Science Boy” invented by Ross Geller. The title character’s main and greatest power was „A superhuman thirst for knowledge,” or a superhuman desire to learn. We decided to bring this wonderful idea to paper, to instill this superpower in the youngest generation of explorers! These colorful, imaginative posters are not only beautiful decor for a child’s room, but above all a daily motivation to ask questions, explore the world, and look for one’s own scientific path. Instead of standard pop-culture superheroes in capes, we offer children role models based on curiosity, intelligence, and a passion for discovering the unknown. Artistic freedom and fascinating fields of science on posters To give the „Science Boy & Science Girl” series an exceptionally diverse and fresh character, we commissioned illustrations from a group of talented Polish artists. Each artist received complete freedom in choosing the main theme, the field of science, and the artistic style in which the poster would be created. As a result, the collection is incredibly varied and appeals to different tastes of little scientists. Among our proposals you will find posters featuring future careers and fascinating fields such as: Science Boy - astronaut and archaeologist by young Łódź-based artist Ewelina Tamkun; the fascinating Science Girl - zoologist painted by a talented artist from Poznań; the empathetic Science Boy - doctor and graphics by Gdańsk illustrator Magdalena Żołnierowicz; the past-focused Science Boy - historian created by young Kraków artist Julia Gacek; as well as the plant-loving botanist designed by Ewa Lipińska from Lipove Studio. Each poster tells a different story and has a different style, but they are all united by one common denominator – a love of science. The perfect, smart decor for a child’s room and preschool Are you wondering how to arrange a space that will stimulate your child’s development? Posters from the little scientists series are absolutely perfect for children’s rooms, teenagers’ rooms, as well as school classrooms, preschools, and play corners. Replacing pop-culture motifs with inspiring figures of astronauts, archaeologists, or botanists is a wonderful step toward mindful parenting and building in a child the feeling that science is a great adventure. These graphics are also a fantastic, highly personalized gift idea. Does your daughter love animals? Choose Science Girl - zoologist! Does your son keep looking at the stars? Science Boy - astronaut will be a perfect choice! It’s a gift with tremendous educational value. Gallery-quality printing and free framing for little explorers To ensure that all the colors and details of the artistic visions look flawless, we print your posters on three carefully selected substrates. For children’s rooms, we especially recommend anti-glare Matte Paper (230 g/m²), which guarantees excellent readability without reflections. For stronger, more saturated colors, we offer Satin Pearl Paper (255 g/m²). For those looking for refined, gallery-quality results, we recommend Hahnemühle cotton Art Paper (310 g/m²). The collection is prepared in five universal formats: 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 50x70 cm, 61x91 cm, and 70x100 cm. We know that parents’ time is extremely valuable, which is why we offer framing as a completely free bonus! If you purchase a dedicated frame in our shop, we will frame the poster for free. You will receive the artwork secured in a rigid cardboard box, ready to hang. The prints themselves are carefully rolled and placed in very thick cardboard protective tubes.
