The Świętokrzyskie Mountains poster from the "Polish Regions" series. The series presents the most beautiful regions of Poland, both the larger, more well-known ones, and the smaller ones. The series aims to showcase the beauty of our country in a beautiful and engaging way. This poster, like the entire series, was created especially for us by Poznań-based artist Katarzyna Nowakowska.
The foreground of the poster depicts spruce trees and a deer, which is a characteristic representative of large mammals and is abundant in these regions.
The Świętokrzyskie Mountains posters show Łysica in the distance, the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, at 614 meters above sea level. Łysica is composed of Cambrian quartzites and shales. The peak is surrounded by boulder fields on the north and south sides. A boulder field is a type of slope cover consisting of lightly rocky debris or boulders. In other words, rocky debris in the mountains.
The Świętokrzyskie Mountains, along with the Sudetes, are one of the oldest mountain ranges in Europe. They have been uplifted, eroded, and flooded by the sea several times.
