The Wisła poster is a continuation of the new mini-series "Poland is Beautiful." The series aims to present some of the more or less well-known tourist destinations in Poland.
Wisła is the undisputed capital of Polish ski jumping. It is located deep in the Silesian Beskids. For years, it has been a snow paradise, a place of worship for every ski jumping fan in the country. Its most famous symbol is the Adam Małysz ski jump, built in its current form between 2004 and 2008 on the wave of Adam Małysz's enormous successes. Since 2013, the facility has regularly hosted Winter World Cup ski jumping competitors. Competitions of the Polish Championships, Continental Cup, and Summer Grand Prix ranks are also held here.
We wanted to symbolically showcase what is most characteristic about the scenery of this atmospheric winter town. A ski jumper in a winter setting, with falling snow and trees surrounding him, with a starting tower at the top of the ski jump.
The VISTULA poster is the work of Poznań artist Katarzyna Nowakowska. It was commissioned by us. See also other posters from the POLAND REGIONS series in our gallery.
