The poster presents "Aircraft Arrangement with a Parachute," patented by Florian Alojzy Grubiński. It was a pioneering design of a jet aircraft. Grubiński was one of the precursors of using the force of air or gas jet propulsion to achieve flight. On 11/12/1909, he filed in France an application for protection of his own idea for an "aircraft." Patent No. 410886 was granted to him on 23/03/1910. The subject of the invention was a jet-powered vertical takeoff aircraft, moving vertically and horizontally as a result of the thrust of streams of compressed air. These escape to the outside of the engine through appropriately arranged nozzles. An integral part of it is a highly efficient rotary pump compressing the air.
