Bavarian Alps poster from our bestselling REGIONS poster series. So far, we have prepared regions of Poland, and now the next posters will depict regions of Europe. This collection aims to present the most beautiful and, in the literal sense of the word, most picturesque regions in Europe.
The poster depicts the Bavarian Alps, a dream destination for mountain hikers. They are a mountain range in the Northern Limestone Alps. The Lech River divides them into the Allgäu Alps in the west, and the Loisach River divides them into the Berchtesgaden Alps in the east. Administratively, the Bavarian Alps are located in Germany, in the federal state of Bavaria. They are divided into many smaller ranges, the highest of which is the Wettersteingebirge with the Zugspitze peak (2,962 m above sea level). You can also spot mountain goats here, among other animals, which enjoy staying in such high mountain ranges. The chamois has become a symbol of the Bavarian Alps on our poster.
