Jakuszyce - poster

The Jakuszyce poster is a continuation of the new mini-series "Poland is Beautiful." The series aims to present some of the more or less well-known tourist destinations in Poland.

Jakuszyce is the undisputed capital of Polish cross-country skiing. It's the highest and virtually uninhabited part of Szklarska Poręba. It's part of the Jizera Mountains, with rolling, varied terrain, clean air, and stunning views of the Karkonosze Mountains. For years, it's been a snow paradise, a place of worship for every cross-country skier in the country. Here, the season begins in December and ends at the end of April.

Therefore, we wanted to symbolically showcase what's most characteristic about the scenery of this atmospheric winter town. A skier in a winter setting, falling snow, and trees all around.

The JAKUSZYCE poster is the work of Poznań-based artist Katarzyna Nowakowska. It was made especially for us. See other posters from the POLAND REGIONS series in our gallery.
